Kevin Mascarenhas, Associate

Kevin’s passion stems from his desire to bring about change through enabling individuals and communities to design and build solutions that lead to meaningful outcomes. He established his own ecological design consultancy in 2010 after an earlier career in IT in the City. Kevin applies his experience in systems design solutions across a variety of environments to encourage more diverse and sustainable thinking to address organisational dilemmas.

Through his own consultancy Kevin has been privileged to work on diverse projects including sustainable garden design for The Princes Trust and a jungle agroforestry system in Belize. He voluntarily teaches weekend courses in sustainable design across London. Kevin’s earlier career included working with Bank of America and JP Morgan Chase as an IT Analyst where he managed, supported and designed critical global software applications and IT infrastructure. He also worked for the Financial Times and Lucas Automotive Electronics where he was part of a team of software engineers tasked with developing first generation engine management systems for zero emission fuel efficient transport.

Kevin graduated with a BEng degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, he is a certified facilitator of LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method and materials and a Certified Holacracy Practitioner. He is currently an Advisor to the KORI Charity (supporting vulnerable children and young adults) on strategy, organisational design and entrepreneurship.
